How do I pre-order drinks?
With regard to pre-Supper drinks, these are made available in the King George III Room where a bar is available. Pre-Supper and Supper drinks for corporate hospitality tables must be pre-ordered directly from The Brewery and not via the Society.
You must pre-order your party's drinks for the pre-dinner reception and during the rest of the event by 5pm Monday 12th January 2026. The pre-order link will not be available from 72 hours before the event and all drinks orders are managed by the venue staff, we are unable to process any drinks orders or amendments after this time.
Important: you will need to follow this process twice to order drinks for both the reception and the dinner.

What is the dress code?
The Burns Supper is a black-tie event. Highland Dress is acceptable and actively encouraged!
Who provides a seating plan for my table?
The society will assign you a table number but you are responsible for laying out place cards if you wish to use them. Access is given early to the Porter Tun Room where the Supper is held to allow this to be done.

How will tickets be allocated?
As in previous years, allocation of tables will be at the discretion of the Committee, generally on a first come, first served basis. In the case of over subscription preference will be given based on the number of paid-up members of the Society per table. Tables will consist of ten places. The Society is nevertheless organised for the benefit of its members and we will endeavour to accommodate applications from members for tables of less than ten places, and single applications from members.
